Technician - Continental Tyres PJ (M) Sdn Bhd
Responsibilities
- To undertake testing of tires to support the R&D requirement of the Tire Division.
- To maintain, monitor and calibrate all test machines and supporting equipment for test operation involving UTTM, 10 Ton and Tire dimension check.
- To plan and schedule with superior the weekly test operation for testing and machine under his care.
- To arrange and perform test operation for tyre dimension, plunger energy, contact (foot) print, radial and lateral stiffnesswithin the shortest possible time according to priority and schedule.
- Optimises productivity including equipment utilisation.
- Ensures job carried out confirms to PoMS and no error in test result produced.
- Conduct monitioring checks & cross-checks (if applicable) to ensure reliability of test equipment.
- Ensures assigned machine/ supporting tools/ equipment are promptly calibrated to specification and schedule.
- Ensures assigned machine/ supporting tools/ equipment is properly maintained as per plan and schedule.
- Conduct housekeeping as per schedule for the assigned work area and machines.
- Troubleshoot and/ or arrange for service/ repair/ maintenance to minimise down time of test machines.
- Actively reduces non-productive time during operation.
- Continual improve the working environment by elimiating/ reducing safety & health hazards.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
- Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
- Preferable technical diploma.
- Intermediate English skills for daily communication.
- Free from any employment bond or government bond.
