MIGHT is a non-profit Industry-Government partnership organisation that is mandated to advance the nation�s competency in high technology. MIGHT undertake various programs and activities for the Government and Industry including foresight, technology, intelligence, offset management and high impact projects. We are looking for suitable candidates to fill up the following position(s):

Assistant Vice President
Selangor - Cyberjaya

Responsibilities:
-To direct and coordinate initiatives and research programs/projects undertaken by the division.
-To provide strategic input for STI governance for Science Diplomacy & GSIAC
-To monitor the performance of the annual budget of Global Platform and Science Diplomacy Program.
-To lead, motivate and develop a team of policy technologist in achieving the Global Platform and Science -Diplomacy mandate and objective.
-To perform other tasks as directed from time to time.

Requirements:
-PhD or Master Degree in International Relations, Policy Science, Technology Management or  Public Policy
-Professional Qualification on project management
-Minimum 5 years working experience in project management
-Shall have a strong management background in the ICT and/or related sector with particular emphasis in the strategic planning, program/project management, business process alignment and risk management.
-Have substantial practical knowledge of running program and projects, including �war stories and delivery scars�, and who are also excellent coaches and mentors.
-Full-Time position (1) available.

-Knowledge in managing matters relating to projects; financial, resources, timeline, deliverables, reports.

-Position requires strategic thinking/interpersonal skills coupled with tactical execution of identified partnership opportunities
-Must be able to build and maintain relationships effectively and communicate at all levels
-Develops opportunities and customer knowledge to influence and build trusting relationships.
-Maintain good relations with international counterparts, be up to date with global developments and look into global business opportunities
-Able to partner effectively with partners, large Service Providers based on need or required value.
-Maintains contact with PMO, all relevant government agencies, high executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship
