Finance Analyst (GL)

Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of financial reporting and analysis to ensure the financial statement gives a true and fair view.
- Reconciles and analyzes financial data and account balances to ensure the integrity of financial information relied upon by management and other financial analysts.
- To ensure all invoices are posted and reconciliation are properly done by AP & AR team.
- Responsible on preparing month-end reporting and balance sheets schedules for all balance sheets item within required deadlines.
- Identifies and solves problems with the ability to propose improvements and assist with implementing changes.
- Work on adhoc projects assigned by the superior.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting.
- Able to work independently, achieve defined goals and meet deadlines with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP.
- Able to coordinate with people and promote teamwork and working effectively as a group.
- Anticipates and takes initiative to identify concerns and recommend action, able to interact with the internal and external customers as a business partner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferable with full or partial CIMA qualification.
