Material Product Industrialisation - Continental Tyres PJ (M) Sdn Bhd
Responsibilities
Mixing
- Execute all components mixing activities of the plant including the rework/work off processes.
- Ensure compound specification handling according to the master recipes from R&D and to the needs of the plant.
- Write, modify or update PI-related worl instruction.
- Cooperation with QM on the new tests methods and topo control plans, instruction.
- Cooperation with QM to assure physical parameters and processability of compounds (series and test).
New material, process introduction
- Execute new or alternative raw materials, compunds and processes on time from ETO to production stage with consideration for the manufacturing process, quality and cost aspects.
- Cooperation during the product optimization in series production and realization of qualitative further development
Product improvement and technology, modernization
- Proposal for new product Improvement measures (PIP) items for Material, Process and Technology.
- Realization of product Improvement measures (PIP) items for Material, Process and Technology including standardization and consolidation (complexity reduction).
Rubber compounding
- Decide about release or blocking of compounds related to the physicals defined by R&D and QM.
- Execute release or blocking of compounds related to the physicals defined by R&D and QM.
- Decision and support the usage of process scrap and rework/work off.
Release notice
- Evaluation of Release Notes (RN) for the new or alternative raw material, compounds and processes.
Project
- Cooperation in company projects (local, R&D, other plants, central functions...)
- To support of Production and Quality in trouble shooting.
Information and Communication
- Ensure the actual plant specification in corelation with CBS3/GUTS system.
- Regularly reporting of results of current testing and planning of further activities.
- Cooperate with PI IPT departments and other plant and R&D
- Know how, lessons learned sharing inside the PI and other plant departments.
Rework/Work off
- Review amount per requirement.
- To support Team in controlling the rework in Plant to a healthy level.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Science & Technology, Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Industrial or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
