GUARDIAN Category Manager - GCH Retail (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Responsibilities
- Develop brand to deliver target sales and profit
- Manage product merchandising, ensure smooth stock movement and optimize the product mix to maximize profit.
- Engage suppliers/vendors in negotiations to deliver good value to customers and maximize business profits.
- Manage stock levels and markdowns while maintaining effective stock control.
- Carry out category management and space planning at outlets to optimize profits.
- Work closely with Corporate Brand manager to implement/support corporate brand strategies
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline.
- Must have 3 -5 years retail buying experience.
- Good negotiation and communication skills with the ability to develop strong business relationship with vendors.
- Self-starter, proactive and analytical.
- Applicants with knowledge in Category Management processes preferred.
- Female applicant preferred.
