Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute product marketing campaigns in regard to deposit range of products for the attainment of retail franchise goals.
  • strengthen client relationships ( revenue/client, product/client, client activation ) and enhance the client interface (marketing comms, sales collaterals ).
  • Execute product marketing and pricing initiatives in accordance with the agreed budget.
  • Address branch and customer’s enquiries escalated by Retail Product Helpdesk  / One Stop Support
  • Define the required customer experience to maximise sales opportunities and work with key channel partners to deliver them.
  • Remain current on industry trends and practices with regards to deposit garnering for banks.
  • Generate key reports and continuously enhance quality reports.
  • Monitor competitor’s product launches / campaigns, and benchmark the Bank’s products vs. competitors to ensure product attractiveness.
  • Proactively submit proposals to defend against competition.
  • Work with key channel partners ( internal  ) to ensure they are supported with appropriate product collateral, client insights, recognition programs.
  • Work closely with internal suppliers in ensuring efficient and cost effective roll-out of programs.

Requirements


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): product development, marketing, product and business development, product management.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience preferably in product management of deposit/debit card or investment related products
  • Candidates must be a self starter, creative, analytical and detail oriented.
  • Able to lead and manage a team to achieve business goals and results.

Bhd acquires Bian Chiang Bank's entire equity 1978 Morgan Guaranty International Finance Corp (MGI), a subsidiary of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, acquires a 30 per cent stake in Bian Chiang Bank 1979 Bian Chiang Bank is renamed Bank Of Commerce and the company's headquarters moves from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur 1986 The Fleet Group buys MGI's entire stake in Bank of Commerce. The bank acquires a 51 per cent stake in Pertanian Baring Sanwa Bhd and renames it Commerce International Merchant Bank Berhad (CIMB) 1987 Pitisan Sdn. Bhd, a subsidiary of The New Straits Times Press (M)Bhd, buys 20 per cent of CIMB. Bank of Commerce is listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange 1991 Bank Of Commerce merges with UAB to create a new commercial bank, Bank of Commerce (M) Berhad (BOC). Simultaneously, Bank of Commerce Berhad becomes the holding company and is renamed Commerce Asset-Holding Berhad 1999 On 1 October 1999, BOC merges with Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad and changes its name to Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad 2005 BCB intergrates with CIMB
